Biggest express entry draw to date! CRS Score, 75!
On February 13, 2021, Canada invited over 27,000 skilled workers in Canada to apply for permanent residence through Express Entry- Canadian Experience Class category. In order to receive an invitation to apply, candidates who are eligible for CEC must score higher than the government cut-off. The previous CEC draw on January 21, 2021, was 454, with 4626 invitations sent. Today that very same score dropped to 75! We had to do a double-take of that too. The government has followed this unprecedented draw with a few words of support. With an effort to help more skilled workers stay in Canada and bolster the economic recovery as a result of COVID-19, workers with Canadian experience have received an invitation to apply. The resounding notion that immigration is essential to our economy. One in three businesses with employees is owned by an immigrant, which creates thousands of employment opportunities.
The candidates invited to apply must still have one year of Canadian experience, have proven they contribute to the economy and have paid taxes. Those who received an ITA will have 90 days to submit their complete application.
